Cookie Policy
Effective: June 24, 2026
1. The short version
Knockt uses only strictly necessary cookies — the session tokens that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. There is nothing to opt out of for the Service to work.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognize your browser on your next request — for example, to keep you logged in as you move between pages.
3. Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth session | Keeps you signed in securely between requests | Strictly necessary |
4. Cookies we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No cross-site or social-media tracking pixels
- No third-party analytics cookies that profile you individually
When we run paid advertising, we measure which ads lead to a sale server-side — from a hashed identifier we already hold, not a browser cookie or pixel. That measurement therefore sets nothing in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is shared and how to opt out.
5. Analytics — without cookies
We measure how our website and app are used with privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (our own first-party measurement plus Vercel Web Analytics). These set no cookies, do not track you across other sites, and store no personal data — visitor counts use a daily-rotating one-way hash that cannot be traced back to you, and your raw IP address and browser user-agent are never stored. Because nothing identifies you individually, no consent banner is required.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from using your workspace. Blocking it does not otherwise affect your privacy with us.
7. Changes & contact
If we ever introduce new cookie uses, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. Questions? Email support@knockt.app.
